Hume says"A miricale is a violation of the laws of nature, and as a firm and unalterable experience has established theses laws, the proof againsta miracle, from the very nature of the fact is as entire as any argument from experience can possibly imagine"
By Hume saying miracles stop nature(that can be a yes and a no)However I would think it was a no.....He argues when something happens to someone/something we ask for a Miracle to fix it or make it better, instead of letting nature run its course..But how does he know its a Miracle that caused changed or nature just running its course-not just in the way he expected it..Someone can be praying for a Miracle however that Miracle might not have taken place but fortunately nature when in that favor of that person or thing...Hume wouldnt know because he cant grant Miracles and he's not in charge of nature..

I agree with Hume, miracles are not our reality but people tend to put all there faith into receiving one. If it did exist it would be a violation of the laws of nature.

I feel that is all depends on your faith and what you believe in... If your someone that doesnt have a good sense of faith your not going to believe in miracless and you're going to think they were a violation of the laws of nature. If you pray, and it turns out in your favor..Do you think of that as a miracle or the laws of nature..However way you take it, if you are praying there must be some kind of faith within you..
I agree with Sharde on that, that depending on your opinion of faith miracles can play different roles in ones life. A lot of people do see "miracles" result in prayer. For ex: if a loved one is sick and people have been praying for good health and the person becomes better with medicine and being taken care of then the close people to that person could see that as a miracle.
